Procurement Analyst - Remote Position

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for sourcing and logistics activities for certain divisions of the organization.


Specific Duties

  • Process all parts requests in a timely manner, including sourcing parts from multiple vendors and issuing purchase orders.

  • Track shipments to ensure delivery is on schedule and update order status in the system accordingly.

  • Review and reconcile differences between vendor invoices and purchase orders.

  • Monitor parts usage and trend to allow for supply/demand needs.

  • Work with all departments to streamline and improve operations and delivery to our customers.

  • Provide fast and accurate support to other departments and follow up on internal requests for technical information.

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals.

  • Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies.

  • Communicate performances and costs to Management on a regular basis.

  • Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs.

  • Determine the lowest cost for products, materials, freight, vendors, etc. to include shopping suppliers/vendors.

  • Coordinate and facilitate all parts and materials cradle-to-grave.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on EXCEL applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work overtime.

  • Responsible, dependable, and organized work habits.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus.

  • Experience with a national service organization a plus.


Education/Experience

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience.


Salary

Base salary of $55K-$65K
