The Procurement Analyst is responsible for sourcing and logistics activities for certain divisions of the organization.
Specific Duties
Process all parts requests in a timely manner, including sourcing parts from multiple vendors and issuing purchase orders.
Track shipments to ensure delivery is on schedule and update order status in the system accordingly.
Review and reconcile differences between vendor invoices and purchase orders.
Monitor parts usage and trend to allow for supply/demand needs.
Work with all departments to streamline and improve operations and delivery to our customers.
Provide fast and accurate support to other departments and follow up on internal requests for technical information.
Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals.
Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies.
Communicate performances and costs to Management on a regular basis.
Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs.
Determine the lowest cost for products, materials, freight, vendors, etc. to include shopping suppliers/vendors.
Coordinate and facilitate all parts and materials cradle-to-grave.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on EXCEL applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime.
Responsible, dependable, and organized work habits.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus.
Experience with a national service organization a plus.
Education/Experience
Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Salary
Base salary of $55K-$65K
