Vice President of Digital Transformation - Remote Position

The Director of Digital Transformation position is a highly skilled leader with a strong Digital Transformation background. This role requires a deep understanding of digital technologies, strong leadership skills, and experience managing teams. This person will lead the development and execution of the digital transformations department strategy and innovation. This position will align digital initiatives to the company and business goals by managing client relationships, stay closely connected with leadership and ensure cross functional team collaboration. The VP will play a crucial role in shaping the solutions, working closely with sales teams, clients, and technical teams to design and deliver high-impact solutions. This is a vital part of the leadership team and will contribute to the company’s growth, profit and business objective by aligning the hiring, training, budgeting, and strategic planning of the Digital Transformation team to meet department and company goals and metrics. 



Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the digital transformation strategy to align with the company’s vision and objective.

  • Establish and communicate a clear roadmap for digital transformation by collaborating with executive leadership to prioritize growth and business alignment. 

  • Identify and implement new digital transformation trends to improve department and company performance.

  • Develop and manage a budget for the digital transformation team to ensure projected revenue goals are met.

  • Build and maintain an exceptional Digital Transformation culture that drives an innovative, accountability and engagement by leading, coaching and mentoring the team.

  • Create a culture to continuously improve by encouraging and providing feedback to optimize performance.

  • Hire, train, and retain the best talent that aligns with our values and culture. 

  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and articulate the value of our solutions. 

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients. 

  • Conduct technical workshops and proof-of-concept engagements to showcase solution capabilities. 

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure solutions leveraging the Power Platform, Azure Cognitive Services, KnowledgeLake, Nintex/K2, UiPath, and Webcon. 

  • Develop solution architectures that meet customer requirements and align with their strategic goals. 

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to deployment. 

  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.

  • Conduct requirements analysis and work with clients to define their solution strategy. 

  • Ensure successful delivery of solutions by coordinating with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders. 

  • Leverage data analytics to analyze and report on digital transformation performance and improve processes 

  • Review client feedback and adjust digital transformation strategies to meet changing needs.

  • Lead change management efforts to align with our clients’ needs and ensuring effective implementation of the change.

  • Technical Expertise and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Cognitive Services, and other relevant technologies. 

  • Explore new tools and technologies to enhance solution offerings and drive innovation. 

  • Mentor and guide junior architects and technical team members. 

  • Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides. 

  • Provide regular status updates and reports to clients and internal stakeholders. 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Extensive knowledge with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services, specifically Microsoft Syntex. 

  • Document management automation experience with KnowledgeLake, Nintex/K2, UiPath, and Webcon. 

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

  • Solution architecture and design skills 

  • Technical pre-sales and sales engineering skills 

  • Preferred experience with other automation and AI tools and platforms 

  • Preferred Knowledge of enterprise content management (ECM) and business process automation (BPA). 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 

  • Proven Leadership, change management and influencing skills 

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities 

  • Financial experience with managing budget and department financials 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Strong client engagement and relationship management 


Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • 8+ years of digital transformation experience, technology management or related field 

  • Extensive experience leading digital transformation teams and integrating the team across client organizations 

  • Preferred Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). 


Base Salary of $150K-$200K + Bonus. Must have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT, 8+ years of digital transformation experience, and experience leading digital transformation teams. Certifications in Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect, Azu
